Hello and thanks for stopping by to read my blog, this is my first post of what I hope will be many. I want to use this space to share thoughts on job searching, recruiting, and now and then will post information of specific positions I am recruiting for.
I am hoping this will add some value to your search, whether it be for a new job, interview tips or a venue to network with other people.
A little bit about me: I have been in the recruiting field for over 15 years first with a third party firm and now as an independent recruiter in that I partner with a fantastic global organization called Avancos Global. We provide Executive Search and Recruiting Process Managment (RPM) in a variety of sectors including Finance, Technology, Healthcare, Engineering, and Renewable Energy.
I read many blogs about recruiting and job searches and wonder how people can write so much all the time, if you have seen the movie "Julie and Julia" there is that scene where Julie creates a blog as she prepares all of Julia Child's recipes in one year and write about it. I remember how she just looks at the screen and it's like all her thoughts of what to say have disappeared from her mind. I now know how she feels!
